Ava Hotel And Suites – A Favorite for Families in Athens

Ava Hotel And Suites sits on a quiet street in the historic Plaka district, with Hadrian's Arch at one end of the street and the Acropolis at the other. The Acropolis Museum, Temple of Zeus, and the National Garden are all within a 5- to 10-minute walk. The hotel is a 3-minute walk from the metro station, giving guests access to the rest of Athens.

Each suite includes a fully equipped kitchenette with a stove, microwave, and Nespresso machine, along with a separate living area and private balcony or terrace. Some suites offer direct views of the Acropolis, the Temple of Zeus, and Hadrian's Arch. Rooms are soundproofed and come with air conditioning, a 32' flat-screen TV, and a DVD library available free of charge.

A daily buffet breakfast includes vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, with eggs prepared on request. Complimentary welcome drinks (moscato) and in-room snacks are offered upon arrival. The hotel also provides a snack bar, wine/champagne, and can arrange a Greek tasting meal at the nearby Ionos restaurant through the Athens Experience package.

The 24-hour front desk and concierge team arrange private tours, restaurant reservations, and airport transfers. Guests can join bike tours, walking tours, or local culture classes organized by the hotel. The property holds a GreenLeaders designation for environmentally friendly practices and provides daily housekeeping, laundry, dry cleaning, and babysitting services.

The business center offers printing facilities, while flexible event spaces can accommodate up to 80 guests for meetings or banquets. Family rooms are available, and the hotel provides a crib, rollaway bed, and children's menus on request.
